The Colombian Sugarcane decaf process is unique in its ability to retain exceptional flavour while using natural extraction methods. This process uses solvent produced from fermenting locally grown sugarcane.
The delicate process of decaffeination begins by steaming the green coffee to remove the silver skins and increase porosity. They then soak them in the solvent which extracts the caffeine. The cup retains sweetness and the original character of the beans. Due to being processed at origin it also reduces the carbon footprint over other decaffeination processes. This coffee is also part of our flagship sustainability program.
